A Word From The Chairman

Welcome to Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare! Whether you are entering our doors, considering a referral or are a staff member or interested citizen, we hope you find this organization to be a helpful and helping place.

Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare is governed by a Community Service Board, consisting or citizen members from each of the eight counties the agency serves. Many of our Board members have either been consumers of behavioral healthcare services, had family members receiving services, or worked professionally with individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities or addictive disease. The Board strives to ensure that services are of the highest quality, as well as "user-friendly" to all. We also are responsible for ensuring the agency’s financial well being and its adherence to strong ethical standards.

I am excited at the many activities going on in our agency and with our Board. Whether seeing new programs develop or old challenges met, the dedication of the staff here at Middle Flint is evident, as well as the support of the communities we serve.

Let me share our overall Board goals with you:

    Enhanced Board development

    Increased consumer focus

    Enhanced financial management

    Improved organizational management and development

    Improved service delivery

    Professional staff development

    Increased community awareness

It is my hope that this website will assist us in realizing at least three of these goals. Consumers or service recipients need a broad array of accessible services, as outlined on this website. This website also highlights our service delivery through descriptions of our programs and facilities. Finally, increased community awareness comes through knowledge about our agency and its services.

So thank you again - for helping us achieve our goals. Best wishes to you in your contacts with Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare.

David Fallin, Chair
