Location: Americus, GA Services Area/Program: Sumter DDSC
Description of Duties: Under direct supervision, will be responsible for providing training to developmentally disabled adults in Sumter County which includes; training in areas such as daily living skills, communication, mobility and use of community resources and assisting consumers in basic personal/ social skills which includes lifting. Other duties include but not limited to, supporting transportation system, tracking and documentation on a daily basis. May administer medications, answer client calls, take vital signs and observe clients. Generally work as part of a health care team to assess needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions. Good documentation skills are needed.
Minimum Qualifications: A current GA license to practice as a licensed practical nurse.

Position Title: TS: Comm & Social Services Tech(EL)/ SST 1 Position No.: 00043472
Minimum Entry Salary:*

$1545.78/month

Location: Americus, GA Services Area/Program: Americus Outpatient
Description of Duties: Under direct supervision, individual will be responsible for carrying a caseload of approximately 40-50 children/adolescents with MH and/or SA diagnosis. Individual will provide community support, group training and treatment planning. Will need to work closely with schools, DFACS and DJJ. Maintain confidentiality of information at all times according to the agency guidelines. Monitors progress and compliance with treatment. Provides direct skills teaching to enhance daily living skills. Maintain quality documentation in consumer records.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED and one year experience in a social services related position OR Completion of two years of college with at least 15 credit hours in a social services related field.

Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience working with children and adolescents OR 2 years college course work.
