Middle Flint Behavioral Health provides Developmental Disabilities/Mental Retardation Services to clients in eight counties. If you are a manufacturer or in need of service work , give one of our Mental Retardation/Developmental Disability Service Centers a call. For years we assisted manufacturers in meeting the needs of their customers.

Developmental Disabilities/Mental Retardation Services

 

Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare has several programs that help meet the needs of adults who are developmentally disabled/mentally retarded. Assistance is offered to families and caregivers of these individuals. Examples of services available include:

Family and Personal Support programs provide a range of in-home services to help developmentally disabled persons continue to live with their families, on their own, or in a licensed personal care home.

Service Centers provide day programs to assist the developmentally disabled/mentally retarded consumer develop social and work skills.

Residential programs provide support that developmentally disabled/mentally retarded consumers need, such as group homes and supervised homes or apartments.

Respite services offer temporary care on a limited basis or in case of an emergency.

Supported Employment programs assist developmentally disabled/mentally retarded individuals in obtaining employment.
