Services Provided By Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare

Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare proves residents of the eight county service area with mental health, developmental disability, and substance abuse related treatment and prevention services. These services include counseling, crisis intervention, outpatient psychiatric care, ambulatory detoxification, community housing, community outreach, education and caregiver support. The primary focus is the mental and emotional health of consumers.

Additional Services

Non-English Speakers. Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare will provide translators for non-English speaking persons upon request.

Pastoral Services. Referrals for this service are available upon request.

Collaborative Efforts

Members of Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare staff are available for public speaking opportunities. Educating the community about mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse is a main interest of this agency. If a speaker is need for a particular topic, please call (229) 931-2470 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

 

Emergency Services

Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare maintains a 24-hour a day, seven days a week emergency services telephone line. That telephone number is:

1-800-342-7843

 

Callers will be asked questions about the problem that is being experienced and asked for a telephone number. A trained mental health professional will then be contacted to return the call within minutes.
